About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Associate and HR Specialist to join our team at RONA+. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will provide critical administrative support to associates and store leadership, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support hiring managers and talent acquisition with site-specific activities, including posting positions, processing background checks, and creating offer letters.
  • Assist with new associate onboarding, including helping with new employee orientation session planning.
  • Support payroll administrative work, including processing terminations, creating employee change letters, and collaborating with the Associate Care Center for governmental documentation.
  • Assign, monitor, track, and schedule training and maintenance of licenses for compliance training and external & internal training.
  • Input training hours into Kronos and assist associates with logistics of their travel arrangements for training.
  • Receive and post material sent by the HR department and organize logistics for activities related to NHD, EOS, SMART, etc.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience administering confidential staff information, such as personnel files and employment compliance data.
  • 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
  • 1 year of experience in a cross-functional team environment with exempt and non-exempt staff.
  • 2 years of administrative experience, including processing data, scheduling, monitoring, and tracking information, and using office software.
  • College studies in administration or a related field.
