Job Title: Restaurant Manager

Charlie's Chopsticks Welland is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to prevent stockouts and minimize waste.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, ensuring the best possible prices and quality.
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities, providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience for all customers.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance.
Supervision:

You will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure they are meeting their job expectations.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure, and with attention to detail. You must be able to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and customers.

Personal Suitability:

We are looking for a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills, who is reliable, organized, and a team player. You must be able to work in a dynamic environment, adapt to changing situations, and maintain a positive attitude.

This is a permanent position, working 30-40 hours per week. The work language is English.
