Position Overview:
As the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at BDO Canada LLP, you will play a pivotal role in driving the firm's organizational effectiveness through innovative and integrated HR solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive workforce planning strategies that align with the firm's business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of performance that reflects BDO's core values and mission.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to design and implement strategies aimed at attracting and retaining top-tier talent.
  • Engage as a strategic partner across various business units to ensure HR initiatives support both short-term and long-term goals.
  • Oversee the creation of an annual HR budget, ensuring compliance and making necessary adjustments as required.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with external organizations, including academic institutions and professional associations.
  • Work collaboratively with international teams on global human capital initiatives, identifying synergies for joint HR projects.
  • Manage multiple priorities effectively to ensure timely execution of HR initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of leading HR functions within large, complex organizations.
  • Data-driven approach with the ability to generate and implement strategic and tactical HR initiatives.
  • 15+ years of experience in developing and executing enterprise-wide talent strategies.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills, with a focus on human capital management.
  • Extensive experience in crafting innovative strategies that enhance a high-performance talent culture.
