Your Role

We are looking for a CO-OP to join the BDO team, taking on the following responsibilities while supporting the Cyber Offensive Security delivery team.

Key Responsibilities:

Engaging in Network & Application Penetration Tests to evaluate customer environments and custom applications for vulnerabilities and flaws. Participating in Red-Team and Adversary Simulation exercises, utilizing advanced techniques to identify potential vulnerabilities in an organization’s personnel, processes, procedures, and technology stack. Conducting assessments on IoT/OT and ICS/SCADA environments. Applying Social Engineering, Hardware Hacking, Network Implants, and Physical Bypass techniques during Physical Site Penetration Testing. Contributing to Research and Development of new exploitation techniques and strategies to enhance client engagement effectiveness and efficiency. Producing detailed and precise reports that cater to both technical and non-technical audiences. Collaborating with client representatives to ensure smooth execution of testing and assessment projects, meeting all requirements. Assisting clients in understanding the implications of assessment findings on the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability of their organization.

Required Experience and Education:

Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in Cybersecurity or a related technology-focused field. Demonstrated interest and commitment to a Cyber Security career path through relevant extracurricular activities. Completion or progress towards obtaining a relevant Offensive Security certification such as OSCP, CRTP, eWPT, GPEN, etc. Involvement in Bug Bounty Programs, CTF Tournaments, and industry events. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, Powershell, etc. Strong verbal and written communication skills for report and documentation writing.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Conceptual understanding or experience in conducting Risk Assessments based on industry frameworks. Familiarity with Application Security Concepts such as SAST, DAST, and SCA. Understanding of SOC concepts, responsibilities, and toolsets (blue team operations). Cloud Security Engineering skills in Azure, AWS, and GCP.
