Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a cooperative student, as a cybersecurity intern, to work on projects related to identifying, protecting, detecting, and responding to evolving threats against data, applications, infrastructure, communication, and operational technology within our organization.

The role covers a wide range of activities, including incident response, security tool management, training and awareness, consulting, risk assessment, and design evaluation.

Main Activities

  • Automate incident response activities for alerts from our security operations center.

  • Work with regional IT services to ensure that standards and policies are well understood and respected.

  • Manage policies, define exceptions, provide assistance, and resolve issues related to security tools such as web proxies.

  • Participate in the development of our training and awareness program for all end-users, focusing on operational IT discipline and cybersecurity hygiene.

  • Evaluate compliance with policies, procedures, and guidelines on a wide range of cybersecurity and privacy-related topics.

  • Document specific guidelines and user manuals for cybersecurity operations.

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Recently graduated from a bachelor's program or currently enrolled in a master's program in computer security or a related field.

  • Cybersecurity operations.

  • Vulnerability management.

  • Network security.

  • Secure software development lifecycle.

  • Web application and API security.

  • Database security-Server security.

  • Identity and access management.

  • Cloud technology (Azure and Microsoft 365).

  • Operational technology and industrial control systems.
