Responsibilities

Engages with clients through various communication channels (telephone, email, etc.) Processes orders and invoices to ensure timely dispatch, accurate billing, and payment in accordance with defined procedures and standards. Confirms order accuracy and communicates with clients as necessary to fulfill their requirements Exercises discretion in managing problematic orders and proposes solutions to proactively address client needs Oversees the administration of company warranty and replacement policies Provides quotes for contract pricing, discounts, and standard prices Notifies clients of back orders Addresses client complaints or discrepancies Maintains an organized workspace and ensures all reference materials are current Responds to internal and client inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, delivery timelines, and order statuses promptly and accurately. Collaborates with colleagues from other departments, such as production and distribution, to verify order statuses and resolve client issues. May perform standard calculations to compile and report relevant statistics. Inputs data into SAP databases or CRM systems to keep customer records updated; tracks order statuses, deliveries, or activities, and generates sales reports and statistics. May draft sales documentation, proposals, reports, and correspondence as needed.

Qualifications

Preferred college degree At least 3 years of experience in a customer service capacity Proficiency in both English and French is essential Strong team collaboration skills Proficient in PC applications (MS Office, MS TEAMS), Excel, email, SAP database applications, and CRM systems Familiarity with operating office equipment such as fax machines and scanners Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
