About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Client Service Assistant to join our Surety Team in our Langley Office. As a member of our Construction division, you will provide support to the Surety team through timely document issuance and data maintenance, ensuring BFL Canada's standard of customer service excellence is maintained.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Receive and respond to incoming requests from Client Executives and/or clients in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide excellent written and verbal correspondence to clients and underwriters, ensuring accurate and clear communication.
- Create and maintain accurate documentation, sending completed documents to clients as required.
- Assist in managing and maintaining the in-house administration system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Support Client Executives by managing the abeyance system, ensuring timely resolution of client issues.
- Process invoices and maintain client record keeping through our in-house system EPIC, purging 'dead files', and file creation.
- Participate in special projects as required, demonstrating a proactive and collaborative approach.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Has obtained a Level 1 insurance license or is in progress.
- Experience drafting or reviewing contracts and other legal documents, with a strong attention to detail.
- Approaches tasks with a high level of organization and time management skills, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Comfortable working in Microsoft Word and Excel, with a strong proficiency in data entry and record-keeping.
- Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and underwriters.
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently or as part of a team, with a collaborative and proactive approach.
- Strong knowledge of EPIC and Surety Bonds is considered an asset.
