**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining washers and dryers at various customer locations. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Service washers and dryers at apartments, laundromats, hotels, athletic facilities, and other customer locations.
  • Disassemble machines and examine mechanical and electrical parts to diagnose and repair issues.
  • Reassemble appliances, adjust pulleys, and lubricate moving parts to ensure optimal performance.
  • Replace worn or defective parts and adjust motors to maintain equipment efficiency.
  • Clean and wash parts to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Advise the Dispatch Department of equipment in the field that requires replacement with new equipment.
  • Drive a Company vehicle to and from work locations, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Collect coins from each machine with 100% accuracy and record machine counter readings accurately.
  • Complete the collection route by the end of each day and perform collections at all locations during the designated 30, 60, or 90-day collection cycles.

**Requirements**

  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 2-4 years of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally move 200 pounds or more with a dolly/hand truck.
  • Prior washer/dryer repair experience is highly desirable.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Excellent customer service skills and effective English communication skills (oral and written).
  • Ability to read and understand road maps, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and policy and procedure manuals.
  • Basic knowledge of AVS procedures.
