About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Account Manager to join our team at Amazon Web Services Canada, Inc. As a Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic technical guidance and advocacy to our Enterprise Support customers, helping them to achieve the greatest value from AWS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive customer adoption and use of AWS services
  • Provide technical acumen and customer-facing skills to effectively represent AWS within a customer's environment
  • Advocate and provide strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices
  • Proactively keep customer AWS environments operationally healthy
Requirements
  • 3+ years of technical engineering experience
  • Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for three (3) of the following: compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data and analytics/security/applications development in a distributed systems environment
  • Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings
  • Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead
