About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Technical Account Manager to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a key member of our Enterprise Support team, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and strategic advice to our customers, helping them to achieve the greatest value from AWS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to customers on the adoption and use of AWS services
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive customer adoption and use of AWS services
  • Act as the principal technical advisor and 'voice of the customer' to organizations ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 enterprises
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address customer needs and pain points
  • Travel 10% or more as needed to engage with customers and provide on-site support
Requirements
  • 3+ years of technical engineering experience
  • Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for three (3) of the following: compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data and analytics/security/applications development in a distributed systems environment
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings
  • Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead
