About the Role

Stericycle is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative Bilingual to join our team. As a Sales Representative Bilingual, you will be responsible for acquiring new clients, upselling and cross-selling existing clients, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Make outbound sales calls to existing and potential clients to sell Shred-it services and products.
  • Acquire new clients and convert existing clients through prospecting, marketing campaigns, and referrals.
  • Utilize consultative sales strategies to achieve a minimum of 100% of assigned revenue targets and quota objectives.
  • Build a pipeline of future business opportunities through prospecting via marketing campaigns, territory lists, the internet, and other identified sources.
  • Verify all prospects and calls through the customer relationship management (CRM) tool, determining if another sales representative is currently engaged or has contacted the account, if the prospect is within the assigned territory, and/or which service is best suited to manage the prospect.
  • Utilize the internet and other resources to better understand the client's industrial and commercial needs.
  • Achieve or exceed assigned performance measures and key expectations in assigned parameters, including the number of outbound calls, closure rates, average order size, and task management activities (i.e., sales cycle, pipeline, and case management).
  • Forecast monthly and quarterly sales to within 5% of actual results.
  • Target opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Shred-it products and services.
  • Utilize the technology-based CRM tool to track prospects, manage the sales cycle, pipeline, forecasting, and lost opportunity tracking. Maintain complete and accurate notes in the system.
  • Qualify clients through consultative sales strategies.
  • Assist/support other assigned projects and/or tasks as needed.
  • Perform all other functions and responsibilities assigned.
Requirements
  • Fluency in French for communication with clients.
  • Bachelor's degree in sales/marketing or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in sales/marketing, demonstrating the ability to manage and develop existing and potential accounts.
  • Must have experience with customer relations, support, and demonstrate leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to learn the company's billing/factoring client database software, product and service features at different levels of account options.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
  • Knowledge of the CRM tool is preferred.
  • The candidate must be bilingual - English primary (to serve our English-speaking clientele) French (Canadian) secondary.
