Job Title: Inventory Management Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Officer to join our team at National Engineered Fasteners Inc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, and ensuring the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Train workers in duties and policies, and co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including tracking stock levels, monitoring inventory movements, and conducting cycle counts.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics, including coordinating with suppliers, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Windows.
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, attention to detail.
  • Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal suitability: Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, organized, reliability, team player.
