About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Officer to join our team at National Engineered Fasteners Inc. As an Inventory Management Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure accurate and efficient inventory management.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery used in inventory management.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Training and Development: Train workers in duties and policies related to inventory management.
  • Work Coordination: Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Inventory Organization: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure accurate and efficient stock management.
  • Operational Logistics: Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Handling heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, organized, reliability, and team player.
