Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Officer to join our team at National Engineered Fasteners Inc. As an Inventory Management Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management system, coordinating activities with other departments, and providing technical advice to improve productivity and product quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensure accurate tracking and reporting, and implement efficient inventory management processes.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate activities with other departments, requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, and establish work schedules and procedures.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics, including training workers in duties and policies, and resolving work problems.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports, analyze data, and provide recommendations to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise a team of 5-10 people, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain coordination, or operations management.
  • Skills: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Windows, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, and attention to detail.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, organized, reliability, team player, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
