Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Officer to join our team at National Engineered Fasteners Inc. As an Inventory Management Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management system, coordinating activities with other departments, and providing technical advice to improve productivity and product quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensure accurate tracking and reporting, and implement efficient inventory management processes.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate activities with other departments, including purchasing, production, and shipping, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and products.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory levels, supply chain performance, and other key metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Technical Advice: Provide technical advice and guidance to employees on inventory management best practices, supply chain optimization, and other related topics.
  • Training and Development: Train and develop employees on inventory management procedures, supply chain processes, and other related skills.
  • Operational Logistics: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including inventory management, supply chain coordination, and reporting.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain coordination, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Windows.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, and attention to detail.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, organized, reliability, team player, and ability to work in a permanent position with 40 hours per week.
