Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Officer to join our team at National Engineered Fasteners Inc. As an Inventory Management Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management system, coordinating activities with other work units, and providing technical advice to improve productivity and product quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensure accurate tracking and reporting, and implement efficient inventory management processes.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate activities with other work units, departments, and external partners to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials and supplies.
  • Operations Logistics: Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics, including establishing work schedules and procedures, and requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Training and Development: Train workers in duties and policies, and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Supervision: Supervise a team of 5-10 people, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure the team's success.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain coordination, or operations logistics.
  • Skills: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Windows, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment

Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, and working under pressure. Must be able to work accurately and efficiently in a team environment.

Language and Work Term

English is the primary language of work. This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week.
