Project Management Assistant

Under the guidance of the project manager, the Project Management Assistant will be tasked with facilitating the preparation of various phases to ensure the efficient operation of the construction sites under their oversight, adhering to the predetermined timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain schedules while reporting any delays (using MS Project);
  • Draft project guidelines and evaluate bids against construction plans;
  • Establish and update the administrative documentation for each project, from initiation to closure, following the standard framework;
  • Prepare and communicate survey points and survey stations;
  • Draft preliminary drawings for tower cranes;
  • · Generate purchase orders for subcontractors, monitor delivery timelines, verify invoices, and manage monthly billing to subcontractors, as necessary;
  • · Oversee email correspondence;
  • · Review reports from CNESST visits, address non-conformities, and follow up on site meeting outcomes;
  • · Track delays in concrete work and site operations;
  • · Prepare and monitor QRTs, shop drawings, and technical data sheets;
  • · Execute any other related tasks as required.

Required Skills:

  • DEC in architecture or civil engineering, or BAC in construction engineering, civil engineering, building engineering, or equivalent experience;
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a comparable role within the construction sector;
  • Capacity to perform under pressure;
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and initiative;
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities;
  • Teamwork skills;
  • Effective communication with diverse stakeholders;
  • Familiarity with concrete formwork (preferred);
  • ASP Construction certification (preferred);
  • Valid driver's license.
