Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Officer to join our team at CAPTRA STAFFING CORPORATION. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring the accuracy of our financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Payroll Management: Manage payroll processing, including calculating and preparing cheques, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, optimize financial performance, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Financial Planning: Assist in the development of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to ensure the company's financial goals are met.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in financial software and systems.

Language and Work Hours

The language of work is English, and the work hours are 30 to 40 hours per week.
