Camp Experience Coordinator

**Job Summary**
Youth for Christ Canada is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to serve as a Hospitality Director at Camp Cedarwood. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and ensuring the smooth operation of the camp's hospitality services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Services Management: Manage and schedule hosting for guest groups, ensuring a seamless experience for all visitors.
- Atmosphere Creation: Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests, responding to their special needs and services.
- Program Coordination: Schedule and designate recreational activities and meal times for each group, ensuring a well-planned and enjoyable experience.
- Liaison Role: Serve as a liaison to the Host of each group, determining program and equipment needs.
- Site Orientation: Ensure all members of guest groups are oriented to the site and safety procedures.
- Cleanliness and Maintenance: Ensure designated lodge areas are clean and tidy in preparation for upcoming guest groups, and maintain stock and order cleaning supplies as needed.
- Leadership Team Collaboration: Serve on the Cedarwood leadership team, liaising with other Directors regarding guest groups and their needs.
- Summer Camp Experience: Play an active role in the summer camp, developing ways to ensure youth attendees feel at home and cared for.
- Volunteer Management: Serve as the contact person for on-site volunteers, ensuring they are provided with an orientation and their responsibilities and supervision are scheduled and communicated.
Requirements:
- Personal Qualities: Maintain a close, intimate relationship with God as a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, and be an active participant in the life of a local church.
- Organizational Skills: Embrace YFC's core values with a strong heart for evangelism, and possess organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and a heart for service.
- Leadership Capabilities: Demonstrate leadership capabilities, a high level of stewardship, and ownership of work.
- Experience: Experience working in the hospitality industry would be an asset.
