The Role:
As the Human Resources Partner, you will play a crucial role within the management team in Canada. Your primary responsibility will be to support, coach, and guide managers and employees on essential operational human resources activities. This encompasses providing expertise throughout the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training and development, employee engagement, employee relations, performance management, compensation, succession planning, retention strategies, and terminations.
In collaboration with the People Coordinator and Senior People Partner in your region, you will ensure the accuracy of employee records and that all human resources processes adhere to applicable employment laws. Additionally, you will work alongside the Global People Team to deliver tools, systems, and supportive services that cultivate a high-performing and engaged workplace culture.
Key Qualifications:
- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
- Operational HR experience (3+ years preferred) in a generalist capacity within Canada.
- Proficiency in managing complex employee relations issues.
- Solid understanding of Canadian labor laws and the labor market.
- Ability to proactively engage with management and staff at all organizational levels to resolve people-related matters.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment, demonstrating responsiveness to varying workloads.
