Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Support professional to join our team at Dexterra Group.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Development: Collaborate with the Chef to design and implement menus that meet the needs of our customers and drive business growth.
- Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all health and safety regulations are met and that staff are trained and equipped to perform their duties effectively.
- Staff Management: Schedule and coordinate staff shifts and work assignments, taking into account business needs and individual staff skills and abilities.
- Inventory Management: Conduct physical inventories and maintain stock levels to minimize waste and optimize costs.
- Cost Control: Work with the Chef to control costs and maximize profits, including monitoring food rotation, portioning, and ordering supplies.
- Cleanliness and Hygiene: Ensure that the kitchen and all related areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation.
- Experience: 3 years' experience in the hospitality/food service industry.
- Skills: Knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, GFS, Outlook), extensive knowledge of menu and labour costing, effective leadership style, positive outgoing personality, and effective listening skills.
