Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at Global Pharma Tek. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improvement by analyzing business needs and developing solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering: Gather and document business requirements through interviews, surveys, and workshops with stakeholders.
  • Use Case Analysis: Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement, developing use cases and user stories to support business needs.
  • Business Process Improvement: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement process improvements, resulting in increased efficiency and productivity.
  • Documentation and Training: Develop and maintain documentation, including user guides, system support documentation, and training materials.
  • Power BI and Cognos Reports: Gather and document requirements for Power BI dashboards and reports, and develop Cognos/Impromptu reports to support business needs.
  • Workshops and Facilitation: Facilitate workshops and working sessions with stakeholders to validate and prioritize requirements and business needs.
  • Business Analysis Certifications: Possess certifications such as IIBA-CBAP, IIBA-ECBA, and be able to list certifications achieved and dates completed.

Requirements:

  • Business Analysis Experience: 5+ years of experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering, use case analysis, and business process improvement.
  • Industry Experience: Experience working in the IM/IT field, with a focus on health analytics or health reporting database systems for Regional Health Authorities and/or Department of Health in a Canadian jurisdiction.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
