Senior Business Solutions Analyst

Cynet Systems is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Solutions Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Business Solutions Analyst, you will play a key role in driving business process improvement and IT project coordination.
Key Responsibilities- Business Process Improvement: Design and conduct facilitation sessions to determine business and information technology requirements, and document results of facilitated requirements sessions.
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level, and integrate new systems and processes with existing ones.
- Project Coordination: Partner with internal and external customers to ensure systems and processes meet long-term business strategies, and work with vendor(s) to ensure alignment of configuration and design specifications.
- Documentation: Create workflows, user stories/use cases, process flow diagrams, and other business analysis documentation as required.
- Test Planning: Develop a comprehensive test plan and test cases.
- Program Delivery: Work with the NB 9-1-1 Transition Program team to deliver projects with the program.
- A University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a similar discipline.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst in an Information Technology environment, including leading and facilitating requirements gathering, use case analysis, workflows, detailed design activities, system configuration, writing test plans and test cases, and developing documentation and training materials.
- Be a permanent resident of Canada for a minimum of 10 years and be able to acquire a Government of Canada Security Clearance.
- Business Analyst Certifications such as IIBA-CBAP, PMI-PBA, IQBBA.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating and leading workshops with complex stakeholder groups to elicit requirements, design system configuration(s), deliver training plans and materials, and facilitate consensus amongst participants.
- Demonstrated experience producing business analysis documentation (business requirements, scope matrix, user stories, use cases, sequence diagrams, future state proposals, support models, UAT plans and test cases).
- Demonstrated experience as a senior business analyst delivering large-scale project (multi-year, 5+ million dollar) and programs with complex scope and stakeholder groups.
- Demonstrated experience with projects and operations work related to public safety, with emphasis on the 9-1-1 and Emergency Services domains in a Canadian context.
- Demonstrated experience performing senior-level business analysis work through the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SLDC) on at least two distinct projects.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams/SharePoint) in the work environment.
