Service New Brunswick is on the lookout for a dedicated and passionate individual to fill the role of Business Analyst within the Health Applications Services Branch.

As a key member of the team, you will report to the Applications Manager and play a vital role in collaborating with users to gather business requirements and perform workflow analysis. Your efforts will be crucial in transforming these requirements into functional benefits that facilitate the design and successful implementation of applications throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engaging in the planning, development, and implementation of systems, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and support of these systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Ensuring that systems are configured in accordance with architectural standards and guidelines.
  • Assisting with functional, integration, and user acceptance testing as necessary.

Essential Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Health Information Management, or a related health discipline, along with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.

Consideration may be given to an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Proficiency in both written and spoken English and French is required.

Asset Qualifications:
Preference may be given to candidates with training or experience in:
  • Experience with the Meditech system.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment.

Operational Requirements:
  • This position requires some travel within the province.
  • Some evening and weekend work hours may be necessary.
  • Candidates will need to undergo Criminal History Clearance prior to appointment.
