The Operations Research Manager leads a team of proficient engineers focused on developing algorithms that optimize supply chains. Key Responsibilities- Guide and mentor a team of skilled engineers in creating top-tier Supply Chain Management solutions.
- Work closely with product managers and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver innovative solutions that incorporate advanced heuristics and optimization techniques.
- Lead research efforts to integrate large-scale optimization and machine learning into essential supply chain management solutions.
- Assume full responsibility for product development and quality assurance processes.
- Oversee the design, prototyping, and implementation of mathematical models.
- C++ for core development
- Commercial mathematical solvers
- Advanced in-memory analytics technology
- Visual Studio, JIRA, Confluence, Git
- Robust internal testing tools to ensure accuracy and performance
- Virtual and cloud infrastructure for development, support, and testing
- 3+ years of experience in engineering management, with a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- 3+ years of experience in Operations Research, showcasing successful delivery of industry-standard software solutions.
- Experience in formulating mathematical models for real-world optimization challenges.
- Familiarity with machine learning models and algorithms.
- Comprehensive knowledge of commercial solvers (Gurobi, Xpress, CPLEX).
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles, design patterns, and experience with unit testing methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or Computer Science.
