Urban Barn is seeking a skilled Part Time Sales Representative to join our team at our BC store. As a national retail chain with over 50 locations across Canada, we offer high-quality furniture and home decor. Our mission is to provide an exceptional customer experience while fostering a collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide customers in selecting the perfect home decor items, providing expert product knowledge and recommendations
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for every visitor
  • Build strong relationships with customers to drive loyalty and repeat business
  • Process transactions, including purchases, exchanges, and returns, with accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintain a visually appealing store environment, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and visual merchandising

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in retail sales, with a proven track record of success
  • A genuine passion for interior design and merchandising, with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficiency in using technology, including point-of-sale systems and mobile devices
  • A flexible schedule, with a minimum of 3 days (12-20 hours) per week, including at least one weekend and one weekday daytime shift
  • The ability to lift and move loads up to 50 lbs (23 kg)
