As a New Business Application Coordinator, you will oversee cases related to life and living benefit applications, ensuring that all necessary information for underwriting assessment is collected. You will also deliver proactive updates to the relevant administrative contacts.

Key Responsibilities


• Serve as the main point of contact for external Account Administrators during the New Business and underwriting phases. The Case Coordinator is tasked with establishing and managing client expectations.


• Communicate proactively with the designated MGA Administrator or account contact, providing updates on the status of all requirement activities.


• Offer insights and suggestions to identify trends, gaps, and training needs related to the processing of life and living benefit applications.


• Identify and address any specific delays in cases to ensure that all processing aligns with established service level agreements.


• Keep detailed and current underwriting notes that summarize actions taken, inquiries received, and communications sent and received.

Qualifications for Success

Essential Requirements


• Must be fluently bilingual in both English and French, both written and spoken.


• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a high volume of cases while adapting to changing priorities.


• Provide clear and effective communication to all clients.


• Respond to inquiries with a sense of urgency.


• Ensure internal and external communications are accurate, clear, and concise.


• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.


• A high level of professionalism and the ability to perform under pressure are essential.


• Knowledge or experience in the insurance industry is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications


• LOMA, ACS certifications.


• College degree.


• Experience in New Business or related fields.
