Director, Portfolio Management, Commercial Finance Group

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Commercial division as a Director, Portfolio Management. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing a $6B portfolio of real estate secured facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement procedures to ensure thorough credit risk assessment and alignment with the Bank's risk appetite.
- Collaborate with senior management to ensure proactive portfolio management in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and priorities.
- Champion a superior customer experience by ensuring the team understands and responds to client needs in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients.
- Post-secondary education in business or finance, MBA/CFA and/or CPA designation preferred.
- Minimum 8 years commercial/construction mortgage experience with 4 years of management experience.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to inspire a team to work toward goals and objectives.
- Sound technical knowledge of commercial lending, financial statement analysis, and factors affecting the Canadian commercial lending environment.
- Detail-oriented individual with high integrity.
- Proven ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
