Position Overview:

The Contracts Administrator plays a crucial role in enhancing the company's existing contract frameworks to ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate potential risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and refine current contract policies to align with compliance standards and minimize risks.
  • Meet or surpass objectives related to contract compliance, profitability, and pricing adjustments.
  • Guarantee strict adherence to the Blueprint process while reporting any shortcomings to Mining Management.
  • Establish and oversee best practices in contract management, providing education to internal stakeholders and sharing insights on the lifecycle of contract costing.
  • Ensure that both customer and company meet all contractual obligations and deadlines.
  • Foster awareness and comprehension of contractual responsibilities among internal stakeholders through effective communication and training.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of contracts, evaluate costs, and relay findings to Mining Management.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7+ years of experience in contract management within the mining or heavy equipment sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of contracts, legal terminology, and governance practices.
  • Strong analytical skills, research capabilities, and legal expertise.
  • Proven leadership and persuasive communication skills.
  • Familiarity with best practices and processes in contract management.
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic work environment with multiple competing priorities.
