Job Title: Dental Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at Dawson Creek Dental Centre. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists and hygienists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists and hygienists with patient care and treatment, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for all patients.
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures, including taking medical and dental histories, and obtaining vital signs.
  • Prepare dental instruments and materials, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Order dental and office supplies, ensuring that our practice has the necessary resources to provide high-quality care.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling and record-keeping, to ensure seamless communication and coordination within the practice.
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and dental care, empowering patients to take an active role in their oral health.
  • Supervise students in training, mentoring and guiding them to develop their skills and knowledge.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a dental setting
