We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at Dawson Creek Dental Centre. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Support: Prepare patients for dental examinations, prepare plaster models and moulds, and order dental and office supplies.
- Administrative Functions: Perform administrative functions for the dental laboratory, prepare dental instruments and filling materials, and maintain and order supplies.
- Patient Care: Educate patients concerning oral hygiene, supervise students in training, and prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays.
- Front Desk Duties: Schedule and confirm appointments, record dental procedures performed on patients, and invoice patients for dental services.
- Instrument Maintenance: Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a dental setting.
- Availability: Availability for shift or on-call work and the advertised start date.
- Language: Fluency in English.
