As an Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of occupational health and safety professionals. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative courses within our renowned Post Baccalaureate Diploma program in Occupational Health and Safety Management. This program stands as one of the few of its kind in the Maritimes, with CBU actively pursuing accreditation from the Board of Certification of Canadian Registered Health Professionals (BCCRSP).

Your expertise will extend to guiding students through essential topics such as occupational health and safety legislation, risk management strategies, workplace wellness initiatives, and environmental health assessments. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to our Bachelor of Health Sciences (Public Health) program, enriching the curriculum with your specialized knowledge.

CBU encourages collaboration and innovation. This position offers a unique platform to engage in research projects, partnerships with industry leaders, and community initiatives, further solidifying CBU's commitment to advancing occupational health and safety practices.

The successful candidate will possess a strong academic background, including an undergraduate degree and a Master's degree in a relevant field. A minimum of five years of practical experience as an occupational health and safety practitioner is essential. Prior teaching experience at the post-secondary level is highly valued. Certifications such as CPHI, RM, CIH, ROH, ROHT or CRSP are preferred.
