Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Line Supervisor to join our team at CB Canada. As a Front Line Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of front-of-house staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Support the daily operations of the front-of-house, achieving established objectives by implementing decisions on every shift.
  • Customer Experience: Provide an exceptional guest experience by exceeding customer expectations of sincerity, friendliness, and willingness to please.
  • Menu Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of menu items, including allergy restrictions, while ensuring staff follow the allergy protocol procedure.
  • Guest Complaints: Address guest complaints and concerns promptly and respectfully.
  • Staff Training: Assist in the training of all front-of-house staff.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Oversee that all cleaning checklists are completed, ensuring a welcoming, safe, and sanitized facility.
  • Performance Feedback: Provide feedback to the General Manager and Front of House Manager on front-of-house employee performance and equipment.
  • Communication: Ensure clear communication to employees and document any HR-related situations.
  • Inventory and Audits: Assist the Front of House Manager with ordering, inventory, and front-of-house audits.
  • Cash Reconciliation: Complete daily cash reconciliation in the absence of the General Manager and Front of House Manager.
  • Employee Safety: Ensure that all employees are provided a work environment that is safe and free of any and all harassment.
Requirements
  • SmartChoices Certification: Maintain SmartChoices certification.
  • Coaching and Team-Building Skills: Possess excellent coaching and team-building skills.
  • FOH Experience: Have experience in the front-of-house of a fast-paced restaurant.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, including listening, verbal, and written.
  • Organization and Coordination Skills: Have outstanding organization and coordination skills.
  • Proactivity: Be able to be proactive in challenging situations.
