About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and organized Area Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for significantly contributing to the achievement of our overall strategic and financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and/or exceed sales targets for all Custom Brands Group products, programs, and services of assigned customer channels.
  • Solicit, sell, train, and support customers in a professional, enthusiastic, effective, and profitable manner.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers, both internally and externally.
  • Stay up-to-date with customer, market, and competitors' activities.
  • Report significant developments to your Zone Manager and provide feedback to relevant managers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 3+ years of outside sales, field sales, or business development experience in the consumer goods industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in sales and marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Window treatment industry experience and product knowledge is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • A valid driver's license and auto insurance.
  • Ability to travel 70% of the time, including overnight travel.
  • Excellent customer interface and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office Suite and CRM applications (Salesforce preferred).
