Job Summary

VitalAire is seeking a highly skilled Area Manager to oversee the operations of our Home Healthcare business in the respiratory and sleep apnea sectors. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations, as well as driving business results and sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance and Regulatory Management: Ensure that all operations in your area are conducted in full compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as external regulations such as Good Manufacturing Practices and safety requirements.
  • Medical Gas Delivery: Ensure that the delivery of medical gases to institutional customers in your area is conducted in full compliance with internal policies and procedures, external regulations, and safety requirements.
  • Business Results and Sales Growth: Deliver business results and ensure that Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) Specialists contribute efficiently to the sales associated with the sleep apnea business.
  • Staff Management and Development: Set the delegation of responsibility, task direction, performance objectives, and appraisals for all direct staff. Ensure that staff and contractors are properly trained and qualified and re-qualified as required.
  • Quality Control: May be required to perform the role of quality control designate or alternate and complete tasks related to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for the handling of medical gases.
Requirements
  • Education: College Certificate or Diploma in a Technical/Engineering or Medical Sciences field recommended and/or post-secondary business or managerial education.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience with supervision of employees in a business or clinical setting.
  • Business and Clinical Experience: Strong business and clinical experience, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
  • Leadership and Management Skills: Strong people management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of MS Office and Google applications, as well as a valid driver's license.
