Job Summary

VitalAire is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Manager to oversee the operations of our Home Healthcare business in the Kelowna, British Columbia area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of medical gases and services to our customers while maintaining the highest level of quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise all operations in the area, including respiratory and sleep apnea businesses, to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Implement, schedule, and prioritize area operations to meet contractual obligations and deliver business results.
  • Manage team scheduling, including on-call rotation for off-hours and weekends, to ensure efficient coverage of the territory.
  • Act as a Quality Control Designate, reporting and managing customer complaints, and quarantining non-conforming products.
  • Deliver business results and ensure that Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) Specialists contribute efficiently to the sales associated with the sleep apnea business.
  • Maintain quality records, including patient files, and ensure that assets used in Home Healthcare operations are properly maintained and traced.
  • Set delegation of responsibility, task direction, performance objectives, and appraisals for direct staff, ensuring they are properly trained and qualified.
Requirements
  • College Certificate or Diploma in a Technical/Engineering or Medical Sciences field recommended, or post-secondary business or managerial education.
  • ~5-8 years of experience in supervision of employees in a business or clinical setting.
  • Strong people management and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and Google applications.
  • Possesses a valid Driver's License.
