As a co-op student in our Mechanical Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that contribute to the success of our business. You will be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the project team through the engineering and execution phases of the Reformer Coil and Debottleneck Projects.
  • Work with members of the project team to help coordinate the contractors completing the work.
  • Help engineers manage change through coordination of the Request for Information (RFI) process.
  • Perform in-field task support, troubleshooting, and project support.
  • Coordinate commissioning activities and be an administrator of RFO Central.
  • Help engineers update isometrics, P&IDs, and other engineering documents.

Requirements:

  • Engineering co-op student pursuing a degree in mechanical or chemical/process engineering.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work safely in an operating facility.
  • Ability to organize, coordinate and accomplish multiple tasks.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
