We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Engineering/Technical Student to join our team at PCL Construction. As a student in our program, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to the identification and resolution of field technical issues.
- Review drawings and submit requests for information.
- Act as an ambassador for our safety campaigns and conduct field safety inspections.
- Communicate changes with trades staff and set up/maintain record keeping.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as required.
- Pursuing a degree or diploma in engineering with a mechanical, electrical, or civil major.
- Strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience is an asset.
- Application of various computer software programs, including Microsoft Suite, with knowledge of AutoCAD and Bluebeam being an asset.
- Self-motivated and multi-discipline mindset.
- Successful applicants must be able to provide their own CSA-approved steel-toed boots and be willing to take and pass a Pre-Access Alcohol & Drug Test.
