Job Summary

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and expertise to our operations team, including reviewing and approving technical documents and ensuring compliance with company procedures and standards.
  • Project Management: Manage and coordinate projects from initiation to completion, including developing project plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment, including coordinating with contractors and ensuring that all work is completed in a safe and timely manner.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work is completed to the highest quality standards, including conducting regular inspections and audits.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and engineering, to ensure that all projects are completed successfully.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in a plant environment, preferably in the chemical processing industry.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, including piping, static, and rotating equipment. Proficient in ASME and API codes. Experience with PV-Elite and Caesar II is an asset.
  • Certifications: P. Eng. designation, registered with APEGA.
