As a Co-op Student, you will support the project team through the engineering and execution phases of the Reformer Coil and Debottleneck Projects. You will work with members of the project team to help coordinate the contractors completing the work, help engineers manage change through coordination of the Request for Information (RFI) process, and perform in-field task support, troubleshooting, and project support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the project team through the engineering and execution phases of the Reformer Coil and Debottleneck Projects.
  • Work with members of the project team to help coordinate the contractors completing the work.
  • Help engineers manage change through coordination of the Request for Information (RFI) process.
  • Perform in-field task support, troubleshooting, and project support.
  • Coordinate commissioning activities and be an administrator of RFO Central.
  • Help engineers update isometrics, P&IDs, and other engineering documents.

Requirements:

  • Engineering co-op student pursuing a degree in mechanical or chemical/process engineering.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work safely in an operating facility.
  • Ability to organize, coordinate and accomplish multiple tasks.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
