Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at CB Canada. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our operations team, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to improve plant efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company procedures
  • Provide technical input and support to maintenance teams during plant turnarounds
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including engineering work packages and technical reports
  • Monitor and report on project budgets and schedules
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) designation, registered with APEGA
  • 7+ years of experience in a plant environment, preferably in chemical processing
  • Experience with ASME and API codes, piping, static, and rotating equipment
  • Knowledge of Alberta Pressure Equipment Safety Legislation and ABSA requirements
  • Proficiency with programs such as PV-Elite and Caesar II
