Job Summary

Radiant Care Tabor Manor is seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Support Worker - Long Term Care to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, social, and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide safe and efficient personal care for residents, including activities of daily living, to ensure optimum physical, social, recreational, spiritual, and psychological well-being.
  • Effectively communicate with residents, staff, and families to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Provide excellent customer service in a respectful, courteous, and pleasant manner.
  • Provide individualized service in a home-like setting, adapting to changing needs of residents as required.
  • Observe and report changes in resident status, recording necessary data on resident health and provision of service.
  • Share responsibility for care of equipment in the home and personal belongings of residents.
  • Work co-operatively with team members, receiving direction from registered staff as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities, in-service sessions, and training as required.

Requirements

  • Training and education in caring for seniors in long-term care.
  • Demonstrated experience in caring for seniors in long-term care.
  • Current CPR Certification an asset.
  • Valid PSW Certification.
