About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Benevolent Society Heidehof For the Care of the Aged. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Nursing Care: Take vital signs, administer medications, and provide basic care as per the resident's care plan.
  • Housekeeping and Laundry: Maintain a clean and safe environment, including laundry and light housekeeping duties.
  • Companionship: Engage residents in activities, provide emotional support, and promote social interaction.
  • Meal Preparation and Service: Assist with meal preparation, serving, and feeding residents as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, or equivalent experience.
