Job Summary

Radiant Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Tabor Manor Nursing department. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing safe and efficient personal care for our residents, ensuring their physical, social, recreational, spiritual, and psychological well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care for residents, including activities of daily living, to ensure their optimal well-being.
  • Effectively communicate with residents, staff, and families to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Provide individualized service in a home-like setting, adapting to changing needs of residents as required.
  • Observe and report changes in resident status, recording necessary data on resident health and provision of service.
  • Share responsibility for care of equipment in the home and personal belongings of residents.
  • Work co-operatively with team members, receiving direction from registered staff and participating in quality improvement activities.

Requirements

  • Training and education in caring for seniors in long term care.
  • Demonstrated experience in caring for seniors in long term care.
  • Current CPR Certification an asset.
  • Valid PSW Certification.
