Job Title: Sales Account Manager - Technical Sales Representative

Job Summary:

Executrade – Your Recruitment Specialists is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Account Manager - Technical Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Oversee and manage the company's extensive installed base of pumps across Saskatchewan and Manitoba, ensuring the end-users are fully supported with our high-tech pump solutions.
  • Business Development: Proactively build and nurture relationships with both existing and prospective customers, including effective communication, understanding their needs, providing valuable information, and addressing any concerns or challenges.
  • Sales Strategy: Actively support the company's strategy by collaborating closely with the sales and engineering teams to drive sales growth and revenue.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the company's products and services, including their features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations and demonstrations showcasing the unique value and benefits of the company's products and services.
  • Negotiation: Skillfully negotiate to achieve win-win outcomes that benefit both the customer and the company, ensuring successful deal closures.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Keep detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, preferences, and sales activities using a customer relationship management (CRM) system.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, certified Millwright, or equivalent technical certification.
  • Experience: Proven experience in Sales and Business Development.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication skills, strong strategic thinking abilities, expertise in relationship building, excellent problem-solving skills, adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
  • Travel: Regular travel to visit customers within the territory of Saskatchewan and Manitoba, with occasional travel to headquarters in Mississauga, ON for training and company events.
  • Assets: In-depth knowledge of pumps and their applications would be an asset.
