Join our dedication to innovation.JOB SUMMARY:The Area Sales Manager is responsible for delivering consistent performance results in sales achievement and growth of a specified territory, market development and key strategic objectives in the promotion and sales of the injectable product portfolio within a defined geographical area. This position requires up to 80% business travel within assigned territory; and some nationwide and international travel to attend meetings, training, conferences and company events. This position reports to the National Sales Manager. Territory: Saskatchewan/ManitobaMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and execute a territory business plan, utilizing and leveraging territory reports to identify emerging trends and strategize accordinglyManage and develop relationships with key accounts within the assigned territoryDevelop thorough account plans for all strategic customersEffectively manage sales of multiple products and line extensionsUtilize sales tools and resources to maximize impactDeliver sales message/presentation in an organized and effective mannerEffectively execute sell in and sell through strategiesIndependently plan territory routing to consistently achieve territory account coverageLeverage knowledge of key customers and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to identify new opportunitiesCommunicate and collaborate with Marketing, Customer Service, Nurse Trainers and other stakeholders. Submit all administrative reports, expense reports and business plans accurately and in a timely mannerUp to 80% business travel within assigned territory; and, some nationwide and international travel to attend meetings, training, conferences and company events, as well as working evening when requiredADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist with training and mentoring new sales staffOther duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Technical Knowledge/Experience Bachelor’s Degree required (Science or Business preferred)3 years proven sales experience in a B2B environment with documented success (Preference for aesthetics, dermatology, or cosmeceutical sales)Proficient with MS OfficeExcellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skillsBehavioral Demonstrated ability to apply the following behavioral competencies on the job:Teamwork: ability to work independently and effectively and productively with othersCommunication: understand and follow verbal and written instructionsProblem Solving: anticipating, analyzing, diagnosing and resolving problemsOrganization and Planning: utilizing logical, systemic and orderly procedures to meet objectivesFlexibility: ability in adapting to changePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Exceptional selling and training skills3 years experience in managing key accounts and understanding the customer’s individual business needsAble to work independently as well as within a teamAbility to understand and communicate detailed product informationAbility to establish strong relationshipsAbility to drive sales results in given geographiesAbility to prioritize and multi-task effectivelyStrong problem-solving abilityCONTRACT DURATION:This is a 14-month contract position. We are seeking a dedicated individual to contribute to our team during this period, with the possibility of extension or transition to a permanent role based on performance and organizational needs.
