Position Overview

Emtec is in search of a skilled and driven Technical Sales Specialist who possesses a robust history of success and a true enthusiasm for marketing technology solutions to high-level executives. As an integral member of our organization, your primary focus will be on generating sales by identifying new prospects and nurturing existing client relationships to ensure high retention rates and customer satisfaction.

Your performance in this role will be evaluated based on your capability to secure new clients, enhance revenue through upselling and cross-selling, maintain customer loyalty, and contribute to the overall effectiveness of our sales team and business objectives.

We seek an individual who is experienced, diligent, and highly motivated to deliver exceptional outcomes. Your proficiency in selling technology solutions and your aptitude for establishing strong connections with senior executives will be crucial in meeting our sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist sales executives with solution-oriented selling within the target account base Collaborate with sales executives to strategize, prepare, and execute on complex sales opportunities Develop financial business cases for each sales prospect Effectively align customer challenges and requirements with proposed solutions Create and present compelling presentations and demonstrations that articulate the distinct value proposition Oversee all technical components of RFP / RFI submissions Clearly communicate client requirements to R&D teams for future product improvements Gather and document competitive insights

Essential Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience as a Sales Engineer Proven success in selling intricate enterprise solutions Ability to cultivate strong, enduring relationships with senior executives Skill in articulating and presenting complex ideas in a clear and comprehensible manner Solid technical foundation with knowledge and/or practical experience in software development and IT Service Management Comprehensive understanding of BMC IT Service Management tool suite and competing tools BA/BS degree or equivalent, ideally with a strong numerical background Proficient communication skills to articulate and write professionally in both English and French
