Position Overview

Emtec is in search of a seasoned and driven Technical Sales Specialist with a proven history of success and a true enthusiasm for marketing technology solutions to high-level executives. As an integral part of our organization, you will be tasked with generating sales by identifying new opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships to ensure high retention rates and customer satisfaction.

Your success in this position will be evaluated based on your capability to attract new clients, enhance revenue through upselling and cross-selling, maintain customer loyalty, and contribute to the overall effectiveness of our sales division and company.

We seek an individual who is experienced, diligent, and highly motivated to deliver exceptional outcomes. Your proficiency in selling technology solutions and your skill in establishing robust relationships with senior executives will be crucial in meeting our sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist sales executives with solution-oriented selling to prospective clients
  • Collaborate with sales executives to strategize, prepare, and execute on significant deals within intricate sales processes
  • Develop the financial business case linked to each sales opportunity
  • Effectively align customer challenges/requirements with proposed solutions
  • Design and present compelling presentations and demonstrations that effectively convey the unique value proposition
  • Oversee all technical components of RFP / RFI submissions
  • Clearly articulate client requirements to the R&D teams for future product improvements
  • Gather and document competitive insights

Essential Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Sales Engineer
  • Proven success in selling complex enterprise solutions
  • Ability to cultivate strong, enduring relationships with senior executives
  • Capability to creatively articulate and present intricate concepts in an easily comprehensible manner
  • Solid technical foundation with knowledge and/or practical experience in software development and IT Service Management
  • Extensive understanding of BMC IT Service Management tool suite and competing tools
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent, ideally with a strong numerical background
  • Proficient communication skills to articulate and write professionally in both English and French
