Your Role as Hardware Associate - Part-Time

As a Hardware Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have a positive shopping experience. You will be responsible for assisting customers with their needs, maintaining a well-stocked and organized retail environment, and contributing to the overall success of our team.

  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide prompt and courteous service to all guests, answering questions and offering product recommendations.
  • Merchandise Management: Stock shelves with merchandise, ensuring accurate pricing and product placement.
  • Sales Promotion: Utilize your product knowledge to promote sales and engage customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Retail Environment Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable retail area, adhering to company standards.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, assisting colleagues as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
  • Experience in DIY home renovation/building supplies or gardening/landscape is a plus.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
  • Forklift certification is required.
  • Commitment to a safe working environment and the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, is necessary.
