Job Summary

We're looking for a Hardware Associate PT to provide prompt and courteous service to all guests, stock shelves with merchandise, utilize product knowledge to promote sales, and ensure the area is always clean and presentable. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience, a positive attitude, and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all guests
  • Stock shelves with merchandise and maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Utilize product knowledge to promote sales and provide recommendations to customers
  • Operate a forklift if required and maintain a safe working environment
  • Contribute to the team's efforts to live the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community, and Excellence
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Previous warehouse experience is an asset
  • Previous DIY Home Reno/Repair experience in building supplies and/or gardening/landscape is an asset
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to take and maintain the Forklift Certification
  • Must be committed to a SAFE working environment
  • Ability to construct and build seasonal displays
  • Ability to perform physical job duties including lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.
  • Must have open availability and be able to work days, evenings, and weekends
